Seller means Gillgate Lamb, Spenrigg, Askrigg, Leyburn, North Yorkshire, DL83DX.
Customer means the person or company to whom this document is addressed.
International Customer means, A Customer from outside the United Kingdom mainland.
These terms and conditions are applicable to the supply of products made by GILLGATE LAMB (the Seller) to the buyer hereafter referred as the Customer
2.1 All prices are quoted in Pounds Sterling.
2.2 All prices are inclusive of delivery and packing to English mainland destinations, unless otherwise stated.
3.1 Payments must be made in Pounds Sterling only, unless otherwise expressly agreed, and by one of the following payment methods
By cheque, cash or online via PAYPAL
4.1 The Seller shall retain the property in the goods until full payment has been made by the Customer and has been received by the Seller at their offices, and cleared by their bankers.
The risk in the goods shall pass to the Customer on delivery to them or their designated agent. The designated agent is a person who has been advised to the Seller by the Customer as being authorised to receive the goods on their behalf.
6.1 Delivery dates: Because all of our food products are seasonal and specifically sourced for the individual Customer they are not available for delivery year-round. We will confirm Customer orders and advise them of an approximate delivery date which will be confirmed nearer to the date of dispatch.
6.2 All of our products are delivered free within mainland UK(south of Glasgow). If you require any other destination we will advise you of any additional charges that may be incurred including increased packaging. Please contact us with your specific requirements.
The Customer shall inspect the goods within a reasonable time after their receipt commensurate with their being fresh produce and shall be deemed to have accepted the goods unless within 7 days after their receipt the Customer shall have notified the seller in writing (including by email) that the goods are rejected. (This does not affect the consumer statutory rights). The Customer must inform the Seller of their delivery return to the Seller's office and the Customer shall bear the cost of delivery return and appropriate packaging.
If no such action has been taken the Seller shall deem the goods to have been accepted in all respects as regards their description, satisfactory, quality, and fitness for the purpose intended.
8.1 If the goods are to be rejected within the time limit set in clause 7 the Customer shall comply with the return procedure as defined in clause 8.2 below. The Seller will not accept any returned goods should the return not follow the return procedure.
8.2 The Customer must contact the Seller's Customer Services on 01969 650319, and obtain a Returns Authorisation. The package must be returned within 5 working days of obtaining the Returns Authorisation to the following address:

8.3 In cases where the rejection of the goods is due to a defect in the product or discrepancy in the order by the Seller, the Customer is entitled to a full refund or replacement. The goods must be returned to the Seller before the refund or replacement can be issued.
8.4 In cases where the rejection is due to an incorrect order from the Customer, the Customer is entitled to a partial refund (full refund less postage/delivery) only. The goods must be returned to the Seller before the partial refund can be issued.
The Customer shall respect all licence agreements applicable to the goods by the Copyright and Trade Mark owners. The Seller cannot be held responsible or liable for any misuses of these conducted by the Customer or any third party.
These terms and conditions are governed and shall be interpreted in accordance with English law.
Automatic confirmation of receipt of your Order does not constitute a Contract between us. A Contract for the Sale of Goods shall only arise on the despatch of the Goods to the Buyer following receipt by the Seller of payment.
